Zelfs de gemeente is niet in staat om de werkelijkheid naar haar hand te zetten als het gaat om verplaatsing van de speakers corner, de Spreeksteen en het camera project. Een Berlijner toen was omringd door een ijzeren gordijn, er waren tankgrachten, schiettorens, geheime diensten en er waren een kleine 400 slachtoffers van die schietorders...</DIV><DIV style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; min-height: 14px; "><BR></DIV><DIV style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; ">Zonder al te dramatisch te willen doen over de gemiddelde moslim, is de vergelijking tussen naar het westen vluchtende Oost-Berlijners van toen en ex-moslims gerechtvaardigd; er bestaan duidelijke schietinstructies.</DIV><DIV style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; min-height: 14px; "><BR></DIV><DIV style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; ">De gemiddelde gematigde moslim heeft daar vermoedelijk niets mee te maken en is daar ook niet direct schuldig aan. Net zo min als de achterblijvende Oost Berlijners direct schuldig waren aan het neerschieten van die pakweg 400 Oost-Berlijners die geen zin meer hadden om onder dwang Oost-Duitser te zijn.</DIV><DIV style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; min-height: 14px; "><BR></DIV><DIV style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; ">Het comité voor ex-moslims gaat over exit-opties voor gelovigen. De meeste moslims die niet (meer) geloven, zeggen daar niets over, bewaren de lieve vrede en leven gewoon door. Net als de meeste Oost Duitsers van voor de val van de muur.</DIV><DIV style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; min-height: 14px; "><BR></DIV><DIV style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; ">Door af en toe een vluchteling neer te schieten of op te pakken en levenslang vast te zetten kon de Oost-Duitse regering op relatief goedkope wijze de muur hoog houden: de kosten van een vlucht waren voor veel mensen gewoon te hoog op die manier.</DIV><DIV style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; min-height: 14px; "><BR></DIV><DIV style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; ">De kosten voor ex-moslims die voor hun geloofsafval uitkomen of die de gedragsregels voor gelovigen overtreden, bijvoorbeeld omdat ze er niet echt in geloven of er hun eigen interpretatie aan geven, zijn ook hoog. Formeel staat er volgens de letter van het geloof de doodstraf op geloofsafval binnen de Islam. In een aantal landen wordt dat ook uitgevoerd. Dat geldt ook voor zoiets als overspel door vrouwen en 'belediging' van 'de veronderstelde allerhoogste'. Dat maakt de kosten voor veel mensen te hoog om uit te komen voor hun ex-moslimschap of voor het overtreden van de verplicht na te leven regels voor moslims.</DIV><DIV style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; min-height: 14px; "><BR></DIV><DIV style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; ">Het is moedig, nodig en stijlvol om dit probleem met open vizier aan te snijden net zoals het dat was voor West-Berlijners om in Berlijn te wonen en voor Oost-Berlijners om naar West-Berlijn te vluchten. Het ex-moslim zijn maakt je niet een beter mens. Maar erkennen dat je een Ex-Moslim bent en vertellen hoe moeilijk dat al of niet is om toe te geven en te zijn, dat verdient openlijke steun. Niet om geloofsstrijd aan te wakkeren, maar om je uit te spreken tegen dwang, onderdrukking, onvrijheid, geweld en terreur tegen andersdenkenden.</DIV><DIV style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; ">Het licht kan namelijk ook doven door de lieve vrede te willen bewaren...</DIV><DIV style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; min-height: 14px; "><BR></DIV><DIV style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; ">Daarom zegt de stichting Spreeksteen "ik ben ook een ex-moslim..." om ex-moslims te steunen.
